We are a market leader in the supply of locum medical staff to military primary care practices. We have been dismayed by the way many of our competitors who are large recruitment agencies with small sections claiming to specialise in this sector have supplied locums with no extra training in the nuances of military medicine leading to a challenging and unsatisfactory assignment for both locums and practices.

Seeing at first hand what a detrimental effect this had on service delivery within the practices and also how little value this provided for them, as many military-specific tasks were unable to be performed by these locums due to a lack of understanding or training, we began to supply locums to the UK military on small scale. Initially using ex-military doctors but later instigating our own training program to ensure that all of our locums reach the high standard required to deliver the necessary services.

Over time, this led to our becoming a preferred supplier for various sections within the military and we have now supplied locums to the UK military in places as far apart as Canada and Cyprus as well as much of the UK.

We take pride in providing a valuable and effective service to the Ministry of Defence which enables our staff to slot seamlessly into a military practice and to be able to deliver all of the tasks expected of the military doctor they have replaced in this unique sector of healthcare. This is achieved by careful selection of the right person for the role and appropriate training before they are offered an assignment.
